As we get started I think it would be great to share how we work together and how I am compensated for my services.

**Relationships:**  I work very closely with our travel industry partners. These relationships are extremely important and benefit you in many ways. My clients often receive extra amenities, special requests, and perks that you cannot get yourself. I also act as your advocate and can help resolve issues before or during travel with the added leverage that these partner relationships provide. I truly love to travel and to help others travel, so being a professional Travel Advisor and working hard for you is a privilege for me.

**How I Work:** A memorable life includes travel and I help my clients achieve their travel goals by providing excellent and professional service. My goal is to elevate your travel experience. I have traveled the world, invested countless hours of training, and have many travel partner relationships that help assure I can tailor the perfect trip for you.  I pride myself on knowing the world very well, and most of all specializing in *you*. ** We have a unique 5-point process that will help us get to know each other even better over time so that I can ensure every trip is totally in line with your preferences.

- *Discover*: Getting to know my clients personally.
- *Collaborate*: Here is where I brainstorm on what you are looking for; research and speak to my personal contacts at hotels, my
- colleagues, and my local contacts and guides.
- *Design*: I then create an individualized itinerary specifically for you
- *Reserve*: Once you love it, I confirm it.
- *Stay in* touch: We will stay in touch and speak periodically before your trip.
- *Experience*: Even though you’re on your trip, I’m here for you. I’m your advocate.
- *Sharing:* Upon your return, we have a follow-up call to discuss what you loved about your trip or perhaps what you didn’t like so I can make your next trip even better.

All my clients are handled individually and personally. I am proud of the service I provide and take client care seriously, I’m like your personal concierge.

**Leverage and Access:**  Because of the size and our focus in the luxury travel space, our company has tremendous leverage and often gets access to sold-out hotels and insider experiences not open to the public.  My agency is also a member of Virtuoso, the leading luxury travel consortia in the world, which allows me to add tremendous value to what I can offer you at no additional cost. We also have access to American Express perks with Centurion and Platinum cards, including Pay-with-Points and the AMEX International Air Program.

**How I Am Compensated:** The time an average person spends researching a typical travel itinerary is 10 to 20 hours. In creating travel itineraries and selling travel experiences I am compensated in the following ways as an Independent Advisor:

- Planning fees: To cover my time spent on research and creating more complex itineraries when needed. This fee will be discussed upfront and varies based upon the amount of work required and includes all itinerary planning and full use of our concierge to coordinate all daily activities, special requests, restaurant reservations, spa appointments, and romantic touches. This will not include mileage ticket redemption and air ticketing which is a separate charge. Unless you make significant changes to your itinerary, there will be no additional charges.
- Commissions: Our travel partners and suppliers usually offer a commission.
- Referrals and reviews: These build my travel business. Many of my clients have been referrals from other clients, and I consider this the truest of compliments.
